ABOUT US


 

Promoted by Associazione Maestro Martino, chaired by Chef Carlo Cracco, the Maestro Martino Food Academy is a cutting-edge project for training new talents in quality Italian catering.
From cooking to pastry, from dining room service to management, the Maestro Martino Food Academy represents a model of reference for the entire sector, where the best technologies, the most important chefs and pastry chefs at the international level, renowned professional institutes and hotel schools, and the best producers of raw materials, converge in the development of projects, events and educational paths aimed at promoting future generations and Made in Italy in the world. The core of the project is based on the concept of education, which finds its expression in the use of two models – educational and social – with two different objectives.

THE ACADEMY


 

For our students, the training coincides with an introduction to the world of work that, for nine months, alternates theoretical lessons led by the most important professionals in the sector, with practical experience in the Villa Terzaghi and TOG Bistrot Didactic Restaurants and in the production laboratories.
An immersive experience in auteur cuisine dedicated completely free of charge to the best students from hotel and professional institutes in Lombardy selected on the basis of meritocratic criteria.

THE CAMPUS


 

The Maestro Martino Food Academy is based in Villa Terzaghi, an 18th-century villa on the outskirts of Milan equipped with large spaces dedicated to teaching, a centuries-old park, vegetable gardens and gardens.
A campus where students can fully immerse themselves in learning without abandoning sociality.

Villa Terzaghi features educational production workshops such as the Cooking, Mise en Place, White Art, Mixology and Bar, and Sommellerie workshops, as well as study rooms, common spaces, and overnight residences.
